Canada has won the silver medal in the luge team relay at the Pyeongchang Olympics.
The Canadians’ overall time of 2:24.872 powered them onto the podium, redeeming a fourth-place finish in the same event at Sochi 2014.
Germany won the gold medal in 2:24.517. Austria took bronze in 2:24.988.
Sam Edney, Canada’s men’s singles slider, gets his first career medal at his last Olympic race. The men’s doubles racers, Tristan Walker and Justin Snith, are also first-time medallists, while women’s singles bronze medallist Alex Gough won her second medal of the Games.
